So, I wanted
to post things to tpt and I did it! Go check it out. I have provided the link
below. One thing I posted is free and the other costs 3.00. I don’t think that
is unreasonable, because it took me 5 hours to create. My eyes were tired of staring
at the computer after that! Anyway go check it out! :) You will be glad you did!

Breaking Out!
Hey! So...I broke my new year's
resolution, but now I'm catching up!
My name is Tess, and I live in the marvelous state of Texas. I will be graduating with my teaching degree on December 14th, 2013! I cannot wait to finish and have my own classroom. My family and boyfriend always warn me that I get overly excited in teacher stores, as I have purchased MANY materials to put into my classroom. In fact I already know my theme and am making manipulatives based on the theme of SAFARI! Call me crazy, but I love making new things that I will use one day.
Anyways, I am making this blog to discuss my experiences throughout my student teaching. I will also share plenty of ideas with you. I have created many things to use when I teach. Every time I try to find these ideas on google, to save me time, they are never there. Thus, I have tons of things. I intend on opening a store on TPT, but have not done so yet.
Hopefully, I can keep up with this blog throughout the summer. This summer, I am planning on completing my summer bucket list. I am painting many pieces of furniture for my classroom in a safari theme. I already have the stencils!!! Giraffe print, Zebra print, Cheetah print, and Tiger Print, I know they will end up looking marvelous!!!
Like I said before, I have created this blog to give ideas to you all, and to document my life while student teaching!
ENJOY!

Swinging into the Blogging Community
Hey,
I would like to thank you all for visiting my blog.
I have decided to work on this blog as my New Year’s Resolution…We
will see how long I can keep up with it.
My name is Tess, and I attend Texas A&M at
Texarkana. I am seeking a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Skills EC-6
with SPED EC-12. I am graduating in December of 2013. This is my field based
semester.
I hope to use this blog to inform you of what I have
learned, and share ideas I have thought of and discovered from blogs, Pinterest, books, and Google searches. :)
Hope you will enjoy this blog. If you see any ideas
you like, steal it! I don’t blame you at all…
I will attach PowerPoint Presentations as pdf files.
I have created these, so you can print and use them. They include team-building
activities, center activities, among other ideas.
I have constantly worked in the educational
community. As a child, I “taught” my baby dolls. I worked my HS Senior year in
my mom’s classroom. I bonded wonderfully with the students in there, and
learned many new ideas for my future classroom. After graduating, I worked at a
preschool for 2 years. During this time I taught my babies—three
year olds. Currently, I substitute for 2 different districts. I LOVE IT!
Working with students is definitely enjoyable. I take a notebook around with me
each time I sub to jot down ideas I want to steal. I ALWAYS tell the teachers
that I have stolen ideas! I hope it makes them SMILE :)
Hopefully, you will find this blog helpful. I know I
have found a variety of educational blogs out there helpful for me! On a final
note, I would love to hear comments and ideas! Feel free to share.
REMEMBER: Don’t teach to the children, teach for the
children!
Sincerely,
Tess
